CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Remi. Mid to late 2nd century BC. Cast unit (Potin, 18 mm, 4.16 g, 10 h), 'à la tête humaine de face' type. Male head to left, with large eye and prominent strands of hair. Rev. Boar standing left; below, facing bucranium. DT 152. LT 9190. SLM -. Rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. A sharp and clear cast with a beautiful black patina. Extremely fine.
